Poison Grimoire
Poison is an Epic grimoire in Clover Time. It shares the Epic band with Explosive Flame, and the board publishes 3% for the band rather than for each book. 3 abilities are documented, 3 of them with damage figures; the highest published hit in the kit is Poison Bullet at 49.
The smallest kit in the top tier: 3 abilities, and no published stat gate on any of them.

Every published Poison ability
Taken from the developer's own card, English section. Where a cell reads "Not published", the board is genuinely empty — we do not estimate.
| Ability | Base damage | Cooldown | Points req | Scales with |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Poison Bullet | 34 + 5x3 | 12s | — | — |
| Poison Mist | 15x1-2 | 12s | — | — |
| Toxic Explosion | 5x3 | 20s | — | — |
"Points req" is the number of stat points you must have spent in total to unlock the ability — a cumulative gate, not a cost per ability. Nine of the ten launch grimoires scale their abilities off Power; the basic M1 attack is the exception and scales off Strength.
Three abilities, no published point requirements
Poison's card publishes no points requirement for any of its 3 abilities. Compare Ice, Chain, Anti Magic, whose published kits top out at 50 cumulative points, 50 cumulative points, 55 cumulative points. On the published data, nothing in Poison's kit is held behind a stat threshold.
That is a gap in the card rather than confirmation that the gates are zero, and it is worth saying plainly: the board simply does not list a requirement for these abilities. We report the absence, not a number.
How the damage is shaped
Poison Bullet is listed as 34 + 5x3 on a 12s cooldown, Poison Mist is listed as 15x1-2 on a 12s cooldown, Toxic Explosion is listed as 5x3 on a 20s cooldown
Against Chain Heavy at 180 those look small — but every one of them is a per-instance figure, not per-cast. Poison Bullet publishes a compound line that resolves to 49 across the burst, and the others tick or fire in multiples. The published format makes these abilities genuinely hard to compare, which is why this page shows the raw strings instead of a single efficiency number we would have had to invent.
The Epic band shares its odds
Epic is a two-book band: 3% covers Poison and Explosive Flame, and the developer has not published a per-book split. So 3% is the chance of rolling an Epic, not specifically Poison — and the roll maths above should be read the same way.
The tower's ladder guarantees an Epic at 50 Crystal Mana (about 35 with a qualifying subscription), which guarantees an Epic book rather than this one in particular.
What the S tier rests on
The tier list places Poison in the S band on kit shape rather than raw damage: damage over time plus a controllable clone that holds boss attention. No damage figure is published for that clone, so that part of the placement is a read on how the kit plays, not a number this page can hand you.
Why Poison sits at S tier
Damage over time plus a controllable clone that holds boss attention. Three abilities that punch well above the Epic band.
Keep immediately. That is the short version of the keep-or-reroll call; the grimoire tier list carries the full ranking and the reasoning behind every letter.
How the roll works for Poison
Grimoires come from the Grimoire Tower, and the currency is Crystal Mana rather than the spins you use at the Hage Priest — one crystal buys one roll, and the two currencies do not cross over. The one published number here is the Epic band rate of 3%, shared with Explosive Flame, so no page can honestly give you a Poison-only rate: the board does not publish one, and dividing the band evenly would be an assumption rather than a fact.
The tower's published ladder guarantees an Epic at 50 Crystal Mana — about 35 with a qualifying subscription, which is the hard ceiling for this band. That ceiling arrives well before the 76 rolls a 90% chance would otherwise need, so in practice the pity counter is what you will hit. The pity ladder and the crystal sources are both documented separately.
