Explosive Flame Grimoire

Explosive Flame is an Epic grimoire in Clover Time. It shares the Epic band with Poison, and the board publishes 3% for the band rather than for each book. 10 abilities are documented, none of them with damage figures yet.

The second-biggest kit in the game is also its least documented: 10 card entries, 8 distinct names, zero published figures.

The developer has not published damage figures for this book. The 10 ability names below are from the official card, but every damage, cooldown and scaling cell is empty on the board. We leave those cells as "Not published" rather than filling them with an estimate. Treat any damage ranking of Explosive Flame you see elsewhere — including tier lists — as unverifiable until the board is updated.

Every published Explosive Flame ability

Taken from the developer's own card, English section. Where a cell reads "Not published", the board is genuinely empty — we do not estimate.

"Points req" is the number of stat points you must have spent in total to unlock the ability — a cumulative gate, not a cost per ability. Nine of the ten launch grimoires scale their abilities off Power; the basic M1 attack is the exception and scales off Strength.

What the card actually lists

The board lists 10 entries for Explosive Flame, but they are not 10 different moves. Read the list and it splits into two stances of five: a base flame mode and a baseball-bat mode. Baseball Style and Hellfire Explosion appear in both halves — Baseball Style is the switch between the two modes and is listed once on each side. So the card documents 8 distinct ability names across two stances.

That two-stance structure is the most precise thing this card tells you, and it is worth knowing before you read anyone's ranking: a list of 10 is really a list of 8, split by which mode you are holding.

Why every numeric cell above is empty

For all 10 entries the card carries a short description of what the ability does and no damage, cooldown, stat-point or scaling figure at all. Not "undocumented in one language" and not "coming later" — there is no number anywhere on the card.

So this page cannot tell you which Explosive Flame ability hits hardest, and neither can any page that has not simply guessed. The tier list places it in the A band on kit size alone and says so in the reason column; treat any damage claim for this book as unsourced until the board changes.

What the Epic band does tell you

Explosive Flame shares its band with Poison at a published 3%, and the per-book split is not published. Expect to roll an Epic far more often than this specific book.

The tower guarantees an Epic at 50 Crystal Mana (about 35 with a qualifying subscription). Since the band holds 2 books, that ceiling can resolve to either of them.

Why Explosive Flame sits at A tier

Ten card entries across two stances — eight distinct names — and the second-largest kit at launch. Damage figures are not published at all.

Keep and build around. That is the short version of the keep-or-reroll call; the grimoire tier list carries the full ranking and the reasoning behind every letter.

How the roll works for Explosive Flame

Grimoires come from the Grimoire Tower, and the currency is Crystal Mana rather than the spins you use at the Hage Priest — one crystal buys one roll, and the two currencies do not cross over. The one published number here is the Epic band rate of 3%, shared with Poison, so no page can honestly give you an Explosive Flame-only rate: the board does not publish one, and dividing the band evenly would be an assumption rather than a fact.

The tower's published ladder guarantees an Epic at 50 Crystal Mana — about 35 with a qualifying subscription, which is the hard ceiling for this band. That ceiling arrives well before the 76 rolls a 90% chance would otherwise need, so in practice the pity counter is what you will hit. The pity ladder and the crystal sources are both documented separately.
