All Anti-Magic abilities
Copied from the developer's own card, English section. "Points req" is the number of stat points you must have spent in total to unlock the ability — it is a cumulative gate, not a cost per ability.
| Ability | Base damage | Cooldown | Points req |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anti Magic Cut | 16 | 6s | 12 |
| Counter | 34 | 12s | 20 |
| Dual Slashes | 2x34 | 12s | 25 |
| Dual Spin | 13x3 | 20s | 30 |
| Rush Divider | 9x3 | 20s | 30 |
| Black Divider | 80 | 13s | 35 |
| Demonic Advance | 110 | 22s | 45 |
| Demonic Persecution | 110 | 22s | 55 |
| Anti Magic Tornado | 80 | 22s | 45 |
| Grand Slicer | 80 | 12s | 45 |
| Demonic Cataclysm | 110 | 22s | 45 |
The biggest hit is not the best ability
Three abilities tie for the highest published damage in the game at 110 base damage each — Demonic Advance, Demonic Persecution, Demonic Cataclysm. But all three sit on a 22-second cooldown, and the kit contains a cheaper option that out-damages them per second of cooldown:
| Ability | Total damage | Cooldown | Damage per cooldown second | Unlocks at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Slicer | 80 | 12s | 6.7 | 45 |
| Black Divider | 80 | 13s | 6.2 | 35 |
| Dual Slashes | 68 | 12s | 5.7 | 25 |
| Demonic Advance | 110 | 22s | 5 | 45 |
| Demonic Persecution | 110 | 22s | 5 | 55 |
| Demonic Cataclysm | 110 | 22s | 5 | 45 |
| Anti Magic Tornado | 80 | 22s | 3.6 | 45 |
| Counter | 34 | 12s | 2.8 | 20 |
| Anti Magic Cut | 16 | 6s | 2.7 | 12 |
| Dual Spin | 39 | 20s | 2 | 30 |
| Rush Divider | 27 | 20s | 1.4 | 30 |
Grand Slicer is the efficiency pick: 80 damage on a 12-second cooldown works out at 6.7 damage per second of cooldown, the best ratio in the kit — and it unlocks at 45 points, well before the big three. At the other end, Rush Divider returns just 1.4 for the same cooldown slot.
Read the table as a rotation guide rather than a ranking. Damage per cooldown second tells you what to press when something is available; the 110-damage trio tells you what to save for a boss window. Multi-hit abilities like Dual Slashes and Dual Spin are totalled across all hits, which is why their raw strings look small next to their totals.
The unlock ladder
Because the point requirement is cumulative, the kit arrives in a fixed order as you level. This is what 55 points buys, in sequence:
| Points spent | What unlocks |
|---|---|
| 12 | Anti Magic Cut |
| 20 | Counter |
| 25 | Dual Slashes |
| 30 | Dual Spin, Rush Divider |
| 35 | Black Divider |
| 45 | Demonic Advance, Anti Magic Tornado, Grand Slicer, Demonic Cataclysm |
| 55 | Demonic Persecution |
The kit is unusually back-loaded: you have most of the list before the halfway mark, and the final three abilities all land in the last stretch between 35 and 55 points. That is worth knowing before you judge the book early — a low-level Anti Magic feels like a small kit, because it is one.
How to get Anti Magic
One Crystal Mana buys one roll at the Grimoire Tower, and the published rate is 0.5%. The tower's pity ladder guarantees a Mythic at 250 crystals, so that is the ceiling to plan against rather than the odds. Every free and paid route to crystals is ranked on the mana crystals page; the step-by-step build order, including the stat allocation and the Devil race gate, is on the Asta guide.
Was Anti Magic worth it? How it compares
Anti Magic is not the hardest-hitting book in the game — that honour belongs to Ice, an Uncommon grimoire whose Absolute Zero is published at 200 base damage. Anti Magic wins on breadth and on endgame scaling, not on a single number.
| Grimoire | Rarity | Chance | Abilities | Highest published hit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anti Magic | Mythic | 0.5% | 11 | Demonic Advance — 110 |
| Ice | Uncommon | 30% | 4 | Absolute Zero — 200 |
| Explosive Flame | Epic | 3% | 10 | Not published |
| Poison | Epic | 3% | 3 | Poison Bullet — 49 |
The comparison also shows why ability count alone is a weak argument. Poison reaches the same tier on three abilities, and Ice reaches it on four at a 30% drop rate — sixty times more likely than Anti Magic. What Anti Magic buys is not a higher ceiling but more ways to reach it.
If you want the widest kit and an awakening to work toward, Anti Magic is the pick. If you want steady damage while you farm, Poison's damage-over-time and clone are easier to use. If you simply want the biggest single hit for the least luck, keep the Ice book you already rolled.
The Devil race gate
Anti Magic's reported awakening depends on the Devil race, and that is a much rarer roll than the grimoire itself. Both published figures sit under 0.1% — the card field says 0.10% and the board's grouping label says 0.2%, which works out to somewhere between one in 500 and one in 1,000 spins. Full race odds and stat boosts are on the races page, and the Asta guide works out what the two grinds cost together.
Frequently asked questions
What are the odds of rolling Anti Magic in Clover Time?
Anti Magic sits in the Mythic band, published at 0.5% — roughly one spin in 200. The Grimoire Tower publishes a guaranteed Mythic at 250 Crystal Mana, which is the real worst case: the ceiling arrives before the odds would suggest, since a 90% chance would otherwise take about 460 spins.
What stat should I put points into for Anti Magic?
Power, not Strength. The published ability cards for the structured grimoires all list Power as the scaling stat, while the basic M1 attack scales off Strength. Spending on Strength does nothing for your spell damage, and it is the most common mistake new Anti-Magic players make.
How many stat points does the full Anti-Magic kit need?
All 11 abilities are unlocked by 55 points. The cheapest gate is 12 points for Anti Magic Cut and the last ability sits at 55. Those figures are cumulative — the number you must have spent in total — so 55 is the whole kit, not the sum of the column.
Which Anti-Magic ability does the most damage?
Demonic Advance, Demonic Persecution, Demonic Cataclysm at 110 base damage each — the highest published figure of any ability in the launch game. But the highest damage is not the most efficient: see the damage-per-cooldown table, where Grand Slicer comes out ahead.
Do I need the Devil race for Anti Magic?
Not for the grimoire itself — you roll that at the tower with mana crystals. The Devil race is the reported prerequisite for the Anti-Magic awakening, which community sources put at roughly 0.10% to 0.2%. Both figures appear on the developer board.
Is Anti Magic better than Poison?
They lead the PvE tier lists together and the difference is in shape rather than strength. Anti Magic has a far bigger ability list and the highest single hits in the game. Poison brings damage over time and a controllable clone that holds a boss in place, on only three abilities.
